Pelvic Health

When women facing issues like incontinence or a prolapsed bladder want cutting-edge treatments, they turn to Hartford Hospital. Our doctors use the latest minimally invasive procedures and non-surgical options to reduce potential complications... and recovery time.

Pelvic Floor Disorders (PFDs) are a group of conditions that affect the organs and support structure of the female pelvic floor. Symptoms vary with type of PFDs. These are very common conditions that can affect up to 1 out of 4 women over the lifespan. Many women are too embarrassed to talk about their pelvic floor disorders or seek help from a specialist. Different women may also experience different symptoms. Symptoms typically begin gradually and progress over time.

We have board-certified, nationally recognized experts who treat PFDs
