Pediatrics

The Department of Pediatrics at Hartford Hospital consists of attending physicians who offer a wide range of comprehensive services from general pediatrics to specialty services.

Most services are now provided at Connecticut Children’s on the Hartford Hospital campus. Physicians listed in Hartford Hospital’s Department of Pediatrics are those who have active staff privileges at Hartford Hospital. They are providing care for newborns at Hartford Hospital and pediatric care at Connecticut Children’s. This list does not reflect the entire membership of Connecticut Children’s medical staff.

As the only freestanding facility in the state completely devoted to the care of children, Connecticut Children’s has 188 acute care including a 32-bed level-4 NICU located adjacent to Hartford Hospital's Labor & Delivery service. Connecticut Children’s also serves as the home of the University of Connecticut School of Medicine residency program in Pediatrics.
