Overview
The Division of Rheumatology covers inpatient consultations at Hartford Hospital, as well as at Backus, HOCC, and Charlotte Hungerford Hospitals. In addition, they provide access to high quality rheumatologic care at their outpatient offices in Hartford, Torrington, Plainville, Manchester, Norwich, and Waterford. The division has an osteoporosis service line where patients with recent fractures are seen and risks for recurrent fractures mitigated. We also have infusion centers at BJI, CHH, HOCC, Norwich, and Waterford Cancer Center, where our physicians provide on-site coverage. We are skilled at in-office procedures, such as ultrasound guided joint injections, and have partnered with Harvard to teach this to physicians across the country.
