Student Internships

An Internship is described as an organized, well-defined, experiential program or project that extends over a period of time.

• Hartford HealthCare’s student internship program is school based which means we do not work with individual students to establish student internships. Please speak with a representative of your school if you are interested in exploring an internship with Hartford HealthCare.

• A current formal affiliation agreement must be in place between a school, institution and Hartford Healthcare. New affiliation agreements are for eight or more students in an academic year and requires approval of the Chief Academic Officer. No exceptions will be made for one or two students per academic year.
   
• Hartford Hospital does not affiliate with technical, career or online schools.
   
• Hartford Hospital does not offer any shadowing or observing experiences.
