Capital Area Health Consortium seeks scholarship applications for the T. Stewart Hamilton, M.D. Fellowship Fund in Healthcare Management.
The scholarship was created to provide opportunities for individuals interested in furthering their careers in healthcare management, medicine, or nursing. In addition, the scholarship encourages continuing education for health managers and clinicians who recognize the value of engaging in scholarly activities during their careers.
Approximately two to five grants up to $2,000 each may be awarded yearly. Funding may be used for tuition and living expenses.
Applicants must be employed full-time in one of the six-member hospitals of the Capital Area Health Consortium: Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and Foundation, Hartford HealthCare, Hospital for Special Care, Saint Francis Hospital Trinity Health of New England, and UConn John Dempsey Hospital.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. Applications received by (5/1) will be considered for spring funding, and applications received by (10/1) will be considered for fall funding.
