Emergency Ultrasound FellowshipWelcome to the Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut, where we offer a unique and comprehensive one-year training program designed to elevate your expertise in emergency ultrasound. We are fully credentialed under the Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship Accreditation Council to train fellows in Advanced Emergency Ultrasound. All graduating fellows will be welcome to sit for the Focused Practice Designation in Advanced Emergency Ultrasound upon competition of the fellowship.

Under the guidance of a distinguished faculty with a combined 35 years of experience, our fellows engage in advanced echocardiography, regional anesthesia, as well as other topics in both basic and advanced point-of-care sonography. The fellowship includes scanning shifts at the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center with faculty as well as our Diagnostic Ultrasound Center and Echocardiography Lab, alongside weekly divisional meetings consisting of solo fellow and faculty scan shifts, and bi-weekly journal clubs. We also offer training in point-of-care transesophageal echocardiography (TEE).
